|Title:||Stand-Alone Prescription Drug Plans Dominated the Rural Market in 2011: Growth Driven by Medicare Advantage Prescription Drug Plan Enrollment|
|Abstract:||This report examines eligible beneficiary enrollment in Medicare Part D plans from 2008 to 2011. It compares the number of enrollees in prescription drug plans (PDPs) with enrollees in Medicare Advantage (MA) programs that offer prescription drug coverage (MA-PD) for urban versus rural populations, enrollees in MA-PD by county for May 2011, and percentage of beneficiaries enrolled in stand-alone PDPs by county and State for May 2011. It also provides enrollment in MA-PD by State and inflation-adjusted monthly premiums for stand-alone PDPs and MA-PD for 2008–2011. The report includes figures, tables, and references.|
